Previously, Marinelle has worked for mostly not-for-profit organizations. Her first passion is helping people, which started at the very early age of 16 when she began teaching swimming and doing lifeguarding at the YMCA. Even though she had other jobs, Marinelle worked at the “Y” until COVID started. She loves to swim and do any type of water sport except water polo, which she says, “Is too rough.”

Raised in Palatine from three years old, she graduated from Palatine High School and then graduated from Roosevelt University with a BS in Finance. Her education has been enhanced by taking extra courses in website design. Through the years, Marinelle has sang in choirs, and played violin in small groups and orchestras. Her vibrant personality and love of God and others is expressed on a daily basis.
